Who Can Be Saved?
How To Be Saved & Why You Should Be Saved
Anyone who WANTS to be saved, CAN be saved. Jesus died so that we, you, could be saved. We are not saved by our own goodness, or by our own works. We cannot be good enough to be saved. If we could, then Jesus would not have needed to come and suffer and die for us. But it is HIS righteousness that makes us righteous in God’s sight. Because of HIS bloodshed sacrifice, all of your sin debt is paid off in full. It’s like getting a blank check to pay down every last drop of your debt. God accepts Jesus’ bloodshed sacrifice as sufficient atonement for our sins. Therefore God’s gift is FREE for the taking and it is for anyone who wants it.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord.
Romans 5:15
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.
For if through the offence of one many be
dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift
by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ,
hath abounded unto many.
You cannot work for it. You cannot earn it by going to Church, by being a good citizen, or by doing good deeds all day long. You can only receive it freely by believing on Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Some of you think you are too horrible to be saved. I know this because of the e-mails I get. This is not true. No matter what you have done, God can and will forgive you for it. But first you must accept His free gift…. Jesus Christ, and Salvation!
Some of you think that you cannot be saved because only those who GOD chooses to be saved can be saved, and that He would not choose you. But this is not true either. Again, read the words above, paying particular attention to “whosoever”. Whosoever is me, it is your parents, your friends, your loved ones, your enemies, and it is YOU. It is WHOEVER wants to be saved, can be saved.
Acts 17:30
And the times of this ignorance God winked at;
but now commandeth all men every where to
repent:
Acts 17:31
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which
he will judge the world in righteousness by that
man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath
given assurance unto all men, in that he hath
raised him from the dead.
John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will
draw all men unto me.
Psalm 33:13
The LORD looketh from heaven; he
beholdeth all the sons of men.
God makes it clear, that He has come to save ALL people. Whether we respond to Him by accepting Him, or reject Him… is up to us. We must use our free will to choose Jesus, or to reject Him, as did everyone else throughout history including everyone in the Bible. But God admonishes you to choose Him…
Deuteronomy 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day
against you, that I have set before you life and
death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose
life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
